Wine Library Tv, the success of Gary V

Wine Library TV is the creation of Gary Vaynerchuk an extremely successful vlogger (that really IS a weird word) he began posting videos of wine tastings to his site only a few years ago and has become a run away success. His wildly popular videos showcase his out of the box thinking and have helped propel his public relations career along with it. Vaynerchuk has also authored two books with the same attitude as that shown on his site. He is informative, but in a very fun way.

Wine and Cereal pairings

Investing in wine with Jim Cramer

This is the only episodic video cast I follow. I learn a lot from this guy and he explains things in an easy to understand way. While the focus here is on content he provides connection in his viewers which are called Vayniacs. These videos aren't short by any means usually never running less than 20 minutes, but I watch them because I'm passionate about them.

  1. Clever idea for a vlog! I can see how wine enthusiasts would enjoy subscribing to his videos.

Who would have thought to pair wine with cereal?!?!

  2. Oh Emma how alike we are. I love him. He helped, well his videos, me with this wine problem I had one time when I didn't have a corkscrew. I agree he is very funny, and informative at the same time. He makes learning about wine fun and easy.

  3. I know what I'm having for breakfast! ;) I enjoy the way he connects to his audience. He mentioned emailing them directly after they posted responses. He also addressed the interruption concern several viewers had by explaining that they do not edit the program so he had to closely monitor time. Fun Vlog. I don't think I could stomach the entire 43 minutes of the second blog however...

  4. Wow! I can see why some wine bloggers might be jealous of the following this guy gets! He is quite good with connecting with the viewer! Awesome!
